Hereford packaging firm Vision Gelpack is sponsoring its local neighbour Greyhound Rugby Club with the provision of branded post protectors, flags and other support.
Announcing the sponsorship managing director Geoff Davis said: “We are delighted to be able to provide tangible support for a local club, especially one that prides itself on being social and family orientated and which is literally just metres away from our Grandstand Road factory.
“Not only are we neighbours, but there are close family and social ties between some Vision Gelpack employees and Greyhound club members.”
Vision Gelpack was formed following the acquisition of the assets of Gelpack Excelsior by Visionscape Group and forms part of the its European operations. Today, barely six months after the acquisition, Vision Gelpack employs more than 50 staff, with the Grandstand Road factory running four shifts, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
